The Pacific ocean is less than an hour drive along the Russian River which meanders through vineyards and redwoods, enjoy a picnic or kayak ride along the way. Rental cars, motor tours and limousine service are available.
Sports activities include; golfing, hiking, bicycling, hot air balloon rides and water sports. At nearby Lake Sonoma there is a marina for boating and water skiing.
